Spiral nozzles, also known as desulfurization nozzles, anti-clogging nozzles, high-flow nozzles, dust removal nozzles, and *** nozzles, are solid cone or hollow cone spray nozzles with a spray angle range of 50°-170°. The liquid flow rate ranges from 5.5 to 4140 liters per minute. This compact nozzle features an unobstructed flow path that minimizes liquid blockage, allowing the liquid to achieve maximum flow in pipes of a given size. Spiral nozzles can be installed or upgraded in most piping systems. Available nozzles come with NPT or BSPT (external) threaded types. Typically, nozzles from 1/4 inch to 4 inches can be made of brass, 316 stainless steel castings, PVDF, silicon carbide, TEFLON polytetrafluoroethylene, or poly materials. For applications in special fields, other materials can also be used. During operation, the spiral nozzle directs the liquid into a spiral metal protrusion with an external orifice. This breaks away from the traditional spray pattern where fluid enters multiple relatively fine concentric rings to form a *** conical spray shape. The resulting spray pattern is unevenly distributed rather than a full cone spray. Spiral nozzles with injection applications are suitable for injecting fluids into gas streams rather than liquid streams. The flow rate generated by spiral nozzles can be as low as 0.534 liters per minute. The design of spiral nozzles is inherently anti-clogging, but in practical operation, attention should be paid to the selection criteria for nozzle length.
